Formerly a sugar factory, today it produces liquid sugar
The combination of a sugar factory and liquid sugar facility came into being in 1993. Today, only the liquid sugar facility at Groß Munzel still operates.
Construction of the liquid sugar factory in Groß Munzel began in September 1992, and it commenced operations in June 1993. We primarily produce liquid sugar here, mainly for use in the soft drinks industry. Today, 24 employees work in shifts throughout the year at the factory.
