We´ll be EVEN BETTER with you…
The programme is designed to last two years, with you getting to know a new field within our company every three months (Operations, Engineering & Technology and Agri). You will also change locations and experience a production site live during the campaign when sugar is being produced from sugar beet between September and January.
Here’s what to expect in our two-year trainee programme:
First year: basics and networks
In the first year, you will learn the basics and will build up valuable networks within the company. This includes:
- Internal training in sugar technology
- Personal development (e.g. horse-assisted training)
- Regular trainee events
- Factory tours
- Meetings and exchanges with the Executive Board and top management
Throughout the entire trainee programme, you will have a mentor and professional support at your side at all times. Intensive exchange and regular feedback discussions are an important part of the programme.
Second year: specialisation
The second year focuses on your individual and professional development. You prepare for a potential target position. Highlights include:
- Participation in a sugar seminar at the Technische Universität (TU) Berlin for a comprehensive overview of sugar technologies and production
- Indivvidual training and education in people management, such as team or employee leadership, communication and collaboration
- International campaign developement as the crowning glory
