Field data collection is currently underway and will be completed in the first countries by the end of May. <\/div>\n\n\n<p>Sowing was completed earlier than usual in most countries and young sugar beets are growing in numerous fields. As a further data basis and especially for planning beet logistics, it is essential that our growers have been able to carry out the so-called field data collection. This documents the growers&#8217; sugar beet areas in order to plan optimal logistics for the transport of the sugar beets. For the first time, a specially developed module from CropConnect, the new FieldNomination module, was used for this purpose, replacing the old FieldMap module provided externally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWith the go-live of FieldNomination and the E-shop, we have introduced two further relevant functions in CropConnect. Here and there, we have provided support to growers who encountered digital difficulties,\u201d says Bj\u00f6rn Kiepe, Head of Agri Consulting &amp; Shared Agri Services and co-project manager of CropConnect from a business perspective. \u201cStep by step, we are expanding the functionality of the business partner platform. The new module for signing contracts has already been technically completed and will be activated as soon as the respective local contract negotiations for 2026\/2027 have been concluded.\u201d The new E-shop was also launched in CropConnect for the first time. All registered farmers can now access the E-shop directly via the CropConnect platform and place orders for feed and carbon lime.
