Employee appraisals

Our corporate success is determined by motivated, committed and experienced employees. Human resource development activities therefore include regular employee appraisals between line managers and their staff. The aim of these discussions is to analyse the co-operation between the employee and their line manager, to review what has happened in the past, and to discuss future projects, with the aim of continuously enhancing the personal development of each individual employee.

The human resource development team supports these informative discussions with a range of customised training courses and guidelines for the appraisals, at the same time as ensuring that development targets and measures are defined and recorded.

The employee appraisal is therefore an important instrument for human resource development planning because the summary of all of the training needs arising from the appraisals provides an important platform for designing, planning and implementing future training courses and development programmes.
